Wholeness is healing
Did you know that the word “healing” has the same root as “whole?”
When we heal ourselves, we become whole once again. And when we return to wholeness, we heal ourselves. It’s that simple.
But you might say: How do we return to wholeness? What does that even mean?
It means that we embrace ourselves fully—all aspects of ourselves.
When you embrace your whole self, you invite in healing.
Healing can be a challenging thing to do in a society that teaches you to fear your uniqueness and to see your difference as a liability while simultaneously telling you that individuality is superior to community.
This messaging is confusing and discordant.
A more wholistic and harmonious view would be to remember that your uniqueness is a gift.
Your quirks are beautiful. They contribute to the richness of your community. When you embrace your individuality, you inspire others to do the same. This creates a ripple effect of healing outward into the collective and beyond.
This sentiment is the basis of the work we do together in Energetic Well Readings and in my group healing sessions.
We remember the wholeness of who we are.
And, in doing so, we heal.
