An unexpected landing
So much can happen while you’re in flight.
Last week, our plane going from Argentina to Houston had to make an emergency landing in Lima, Peru for a sick passenger who needed medical attention. (And by some miracle, we still made our connection to NYC.)
This emergency landing got me thinking about those times when you to need let go of what you thought was supposed to happen.
Like when I thought I was supposed to be working in finance even though my wise body was screaming at me to move on. (More about that intense time period here.)
We too easily doubt our strength and we doubt our potential.
And sometimes it takes a jumbo-jet-size complication to force you to pause and get quiet. And it’s in these extraordinary moments where you might discover that there’s nothing left to do but summon the courage to be—to be still, to honor your authentic self, and to stop getting in your own way.
In any given moment, you can slow down, breathe, and take a sacred pause to listen.
What is it within you that is ready to receive your courage?
