The unexpected

They say the biggest root cause of stress is when your expectations are not met.

Does this mean that you should have low expectations?

I don’t think so.

I think it means that the more centered we are—the more in balance our energetic ecosystem is—the more we’re able to adapt, recalibrate, and receive the unexpected blessings that the universe is waiting to offer.

Like when a pebble is thrown into a pond, the ripples are real. But the water always returns to equilibrium.

La Corona has unexpectedly asked my little family to take a sacred pause this week, delaying our long-awaited nomadic summer.

While there was a lot of disappointment, cancellations, and some tears, it is clear to me that we needed this time in isolation together before launching out on our adventures. I’m so deeply grateful for the generosity of family for giving us space and time to rest and reset.

While we’ll finally be hitting the road in the coming days, know that I am still available for distance Reiki and virtual Akashic Records readings throughout the summertime.

I hope your summer season is off to a safe and balanced beginning.
