The chrysalis

Now that we’ve crossed the threshold of Summer Solstice, marking the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, our days will slowly begin to yield to night earlier and earlier until we reach the Winter Solstice in December.

This waning portion of the year can be a beautiful time to slow down and reflect on all that you have accomplished since the last solstice.

It’s also a good time to acknowledge that you are in the process of transformation. We are all ever-changing and ever-evolving.

And when you’re undergoing a period of energetic reorganization (consciously or otherwise), it may feel like life is a bit messy. Like the caterpillar before it emerges from the chrysalis, we may not necessarily appreciate the time inside the cocoon. The transformation taking place within may look and feel like chaos, but ultimately, in divine timing, you emerge with grace and with wings gently unfurled.

So I encourage you to slow down.

Notice how you’re feeling without judgement.

And trust the sacred lessons that are unfolding for you in this moment.
